This car I purchased a number years ago from the original owner, Ami Hadani. Mr Hadani was an interesting man to say the least. He was part of the Jewish Brigade in the 1940’s who rescued Jewish people from Nazi Germany, and later joined the group called “Tihas Tizig Gesheften” which actually hunted down the Nazi war criminals. Mr Hadani made his way to the US in the 1950’s and started a Sound Recording Studio Business called TTG (Tihas Tizag Gesheften) on Highland Ave in Hollywood. Mr Hadani was a very accomplished recording engineer that recorded some of the biggest artists of the 1960’s and 1970’s. Jimi Hendrix, The Carpenters, The Doors, you name it he worked with them. Mr Hadani purchased the Ghia new from the Ghia dealer that was located on Wilshire Blvd which is now Ferrari of Beverly Hills. The car was his pride and joy until his passing 7 years ago. After I purchased the car it went though both a mechanical and cosmetic restoration and freshening. With its 275 Commando V-8 engine and Torque-Fight automatic transmission its a great highway cruiser.
